Want to Meet the Red Pandas? The Ultimate Guide to Beijing Wildlife Park

If your family is dreaming of getting up close and personal with adorable red pandas, alongside a full-scale safari experience, the Beijing Wildlife Park in Daxing District is your perfect destination.

🍁 The Star Attraction: The Red Panda Garden (小熊猫花苑)

If you are here for the red pandas, this is where the magic happens!

  • The Golden Time: We strongly suggest arriving at the Red Panda Garden by 11:00 AM. The keepers bring out their food at 11:30 AM, making these fluffy red pandas incredibly active. Once their bellies are full, they love to run around and play!

  • Up-Close Encounters: You can actually buy fresh bamboo leaves on-site to feed the red pandas! It is a highly immersive, face-to-face experience that kids absolutely love.

  • Red Panda Rules: Please use soft voices and strictly no flash photography so we don't startle the little guys.

  • The Red Panda Cafe: Step right outside the enclosure to grab a beautiful drink featuring highly detailed red panda latte art. It is the perfect spot to pick up some adorable red panda souvenirs while enjoying an iced Americano and some fresh bread for a quick lunch!

  • No Outside Veggies: Security will check your bags at the entrance. Bringing your own vegetables (like carrots or cabbage) into the pedestrian area is strictly prohibited. You will be asked to throw them away, so leave them at home! (Note: Pre-washed and cut veggies are only allowed if you are doing the self-driving route).
