Itinerary
Your personal local guide will be with you throughout the journey, handling all transportation logistics, entrance tickets, and arrangements so your family can focus entirely on enjoying the trip.
Day 1: Welcome to Beijing
Upon your arrival at Beijing (PEK or PKX), your private driver will greet you at the arrival hall holding a sign with your name. You'll be transferred comfortably to your downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to acclimate. While there is no guide service today, our team is available by phone or message to assist with any questions.
Day 2: The Imperial Center & City Axis

Morning Pick-up: 09:00 AM. Your private guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your first full day of exploration.
Morning:
Tian'anmen Square: Arrive at the world's largest public square.
The Forbidden City (Palace Museum): Walk through the Tian'anmen Gate into the imperial palace, home to 24 emperors. Your guide will lead you on a curated route through key halls, skillfully avoiding the largest crowds and bringing the legends of the imperial court to life.
Afternoon:
Jingshan Park: Ascend the small hill just north of the palace for the single best panoramic view over the Forbidden City.
Shichahai: Proceed to the scenic Shichahai area, a beautiful district of lakes and traditional homes. Enjoy a leisure walk by the water, observing the local life and relaxing ambiance of old Beijing as the sun sets.
Day 3: The Great Wall & Summer Retreat
Morning Pick-up: 07:30 AM (An early start is crucial to beat the main crowds at the Great Wall).
Morning:
The Mutianyu Great Wall: Journey to this celebrated section, renowned for its dense forest and beautifully restored watchtowers. Your guide will assist with purchasing tickets (cable car included) and allow you ample time to walk, climb, and soak in the magnificent scale of this ancient fortification.
Afternoon:
The Summer Palace: Return to the city and visit China’s finest imperial garden. Your guide will lead you through the famous "Long Corridor" (the longest painted corridor in the world), discuss the history of the Empress Dowager Cixi, and show you the best photo spots for the stunning Marble Boat.
Day 4: Rituals, Alleys & Old Beijing
Morning Pick-up: 09:00 AM
Morning:
Hutong Rickshaw Tour: Experience an iconic part of old Beijing. Sit back in a traditional rickshaw as your driver navigates the narrow, labyrinthine alleyways (hutongs).
Qianmen Street & Dashilan: Conclude the day with a stroll through one of Beijing's oldest and most famous commercial streets, home to many "China Time-Honored Brands."
Afternoon:
Departure Transfer: At the designated time, your private driver (no guide) will meet you at your hotel for a smooth, reliable transfer to the airport (PEK or PKX) or station, concluding your Beijing tour.
