Itinerary
7:00AM: Hotel pickup in Guilin (2.5-hour drive through karst hills and ethnic hamlets)..
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Ancient Zhuang Village
Explore 600-year-old stilt houses and the Zhuang Cultural Museum, discovering bronze drums and brocade weaving.
Stroll terraced fields resembling "Coiling Dragon Descending", framed by morning mist.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Ping’an Terraces
"Seven Stars Around the Moon": Seven hilltop paddies encircling a central field.
"Nine Dragons and Five Tigers": Ridges mimicking mythical beasts in layered greens.
Visit Ping’an Village for tea with Yao families in wooden stilt homes.
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Mountain Lunch
Feast on bamboo-tube chicken, stir-fried wild ferns, and glutinous rice cakes in a hillside farmhouse.
1:30 PM-4:00 PM: Jinkeng Terraces
Ride the cable car (included) to Golden Buddha Peak, gazing over the "Thousand-Layer Ladder".
Trek Tiantouzhai Village’s trails, meeting Yao farmers and learning terrace-farming secret.
4:00 PM: Depart for Guilin.
6:30 PM: Drop-off at your preferred location in downtown Guilin.
