1. Ticket Types & Reservations
We strongly recommend purchasing the Combo Ticket. The basic Gate Ticket does not allow you to see the main architectural highlights.
Gate Ticket: 15 RMB (Peak Season) / 10 RMB (Off-Peak Season). This only grants access to the park grounds. You cannot enter the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests or other core sites.
Combo Ticket (Lian Piao): 34 RMB (Peak) / 28 RMB (Off-Peak). Includes the park entry plus all core attractions (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, Echo Wall, Circular Mound Altar).
Reservation Rule: Tickets must be booked online 7 days in advance.

2. Operating Hours & Essential Logistics
Park Hours: 6:00–22:00 (Peak) / 6:30–22:00 (Off-Peak).
Core Attractions Closure: The ticketed inner sights (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, Echo Wall, etc.) stop admitting visitors at 17:30. Plan your timing accordingly.
Night Illumination: The breathtaking night lighting of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is strictly limited to Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays.
Luggage Storage: There are no luggage storage facilities anywhere inside the park. You must secure your bags before arriving.
Sun Protection: The park is massive and largely unshaded. Sun protection is mandatory during the summer months.

3. Efficient Itineraries
Choose a route based on your available time.
1-Hour Route (The Essentials)

2-Hour Route (The Recommended Pace)
South Gate → Circular Mound Altar → Echo Wall → Nine-Dragon Cypress → Danbi Bridge → Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests → Exit the Hall's West Gate and walk west → Divine Music Administration → Fasting Palace → Exit via West Gate.
3-Hour Route (The Deep Dive)
North Gate → Hall of Heavenly Emperor → Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (plus the Divine Kitchen, Long Corridor, and Animal Killing Pavilion) → Danbi Bridge → Nine-Dragon Cypress → Imperial Vault of Heaven → Echo Wall → Circular Mound Altar → Divine Music Administration → Fasting Palace → Bell Tower → Rose Garden → Hundred Flower Garden → Exit via West Gate.
4. Official Stroller & Wheelchair Rentals
If you are traveling with young children, securing a stroller can save your trip given the park's sheer size.
Location: Tourist Information Center inside the East Gate Parking Lot. (Warning: Do not enter through other gates if you need a stroller; this is the only rental location).
Equipment Available: Strollers and wheelchairs.
Cost: Free.
Requirements: You must provide a valid ID (passport) and a 200 RMB deposit.
Note: Quantities are limited. During peak seasons, they run out quickly, so arrive early.
